At the central office of LCSSU there is a lending library. This library includes materials on Special Education Law, Parenting Strategies, Behavior Management, Assessment Tools, Current Trends, Recent Research, Autism, and other disabilities, etc.
Any parent is welcome to check out materials for a two week period. Extensions can be arranged if needed.
The Regional Office of Education #17 website is listed here and provides parents with information concerning a variety of topics.
The Illinois State Board of Education website is listed here and provides parents with information about General Education, Special Education, and Early Childhood Education.
